Kalstein equips a hospital in the Dominican Republic: 3 anesthesia machines delivered to INNOVA3HealthCareDesign, SL

A successful and strategic first collaboration in Latin America

On May 19, 2025, Kalstein signed an equipment supply contract with INNOVA3HealthCareDesign, SL, based in the Dominican Republic. This first collaboration involves the sale of three YR02069 anesthesia machines, delivered to a local hospital.

Complete and customized equipment meeting international standards

The 3 delivered YR02069 anesthesia machines are designed for both pediatric and adult use. They include advanced features that meet a demanding specification sheet, including:

  • Two integrated vaporizers
  • 12” modular vital signs monitor, displaying up to 8 waveforms simultaneously
  • ACGO system, waste anesthetic gas disposal system (WAGD/AGSS), fresh gas compensation
  • Multifunction ventilator: VCV, PCV, SIMV, PSV, spontaneous and manual ventilation
  • Full monitoring: Tidal Volume (VT), FiO₂, PEEP, CO₂, respiratory rate, I:E ratio, apnea
  • Visual and audible alarms, one-hour backup battery, reusable and disposable accessories for both adult and pediatric patients

The Spanish-language software and full DISS connector compatibility ensure seamless integration with local hospital systems.

Custom technical configuration

Kalstein stood out by offering tailored solutions based on the specific needs of the client:

  • Integration of two vaporizers
  • Inclusion of the patient monitoring system
  • Configuration with ACGO and complete gas scavenging system

These adjustments were crucial in securing the contract.
